Terms & Conditions — Sand of Sinai

1. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed once payment is received.

  • Payment can be made online, by bank transfer, or in cash (Egyptian Pounds, USD, EUR, GBP).

  • Prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the excursion start time: Full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before or no-shows: No refund.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days.

  • If Sand of Sinai cancels a tour (e.g., due to weather or safety reasons), you will receive a full refund or an alternative date.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate personal details (including passport information if required for permits).

  • You are responsible for ensuring your passport and visas are valid.

  • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

  • Follow safety instructions from our guides at all times.

  • Respect local customs, laws, and the environment.

4. Health and Safety

  • You must inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility issues before booking.

  • Some excursions may not be suitable for pregnant women or people with certain health conditions.

  • Participation is at your own risk. Sand of Sinai accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage, except where caused by our proven negligence.

5. Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all customers have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accident, loss of belongings, and trip cancellations.

6. Force Majeure

  • Sand of Sinai is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or security alerts.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Sand of Sinai acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service suppliers. While we take great care in selecting our partners, we are not liable for acts, omissions, or failures of third parties.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
